Inspired by Japanese painting themes, this poster referred to this ironic point that increasing worldwide trends of tobacco consumption and its resulting air pollution would force human beings to wear breathing masks. Because human beings are the biggest source of air pollution in the world, alongside their suffering, other biological species suffer the damages, with no escape.
I used red to signify the danger and the importance of the issue. The highest contrast was used for visualization and a limited color range was used for emphasis.
I put butterfly, the sign of hope to mitigate the problem, on the right side because, in Iranian culture, everything placed on the right emphasizes its verity.
Ordered by Tehran Municipality, I designed another version on big egg-shaped frames for a festival related to Nowruz.
